METHODOLOGY: Students will take an active role in their own learning process, bringing their own experience to the classroom, sharing information, opinions, and ideas and constantly constructing and reconstructing meaning from new experiences. In order to strengthen the process of English language, students will work without reference to their mother tongue.

EVALUATION: The evaluation will be continuous and summative, considering: The daily work in class: Participation, punctuality, discipline, THE USE OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE and exercises. Partial test and final exam.

ü  50% Monthly exam.

2   10% Attendances and conduct

ü  10% Oral exam.

ü  20% Work in class. (Daily work in class, student’s book, workbook or worksheets.)

ü  10% independent work. (Research work, workbook, presentations, surprise exams, debates, forum and notebook)

CLASS MATERIAL: ·         Notebook ·         Evidence portfolio ·         English book. ·         Android / IPhone OS translation application.

CLASSWORK SPECIFICATIONS: ü  Materials should always be presentable. ü  Book must be answered only with a pencil

CLASSROOM RULES:

·         Always respect your classmates and teacher.

·         THE USE OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE IS MANDATORY.

·         Always bring all your English material to class

·         Always practice your English skills.

·         You must raise your hand in order to ask for a participation.

·         You must turn in your homework or projects on time, or otherwise they won’t be accepted. 

·         Don’t copy your neighbor’s work.

·         If a student arrives 5 minutes later, she/he will be down-graded.

·         NEVER do activities or homework of other subjects during this class. I might have to take it save it for later.

·         PHONES, TABLETS, LAPTOPS AND OTHER GADGETS ARE FORBIDDEN (UNLESS THEY ARE REQUIRED IN CLASS)

·         Don’t eat in the classroom.

SANCTIONS: In case of disobeying the rules or failure to follow instructions correctly, your score will be affected in each of the evaluation criteria depending on the severity of the situation.

NOTE: Situations not included or preconceived in these rules will and shall be resolved by the teacher.
